I once bought a Black dye for 500g, when it was 8,5 at the trader. That was a pretty sweet deal.

Well, back when sorrow's forge first came out, I remember selling random greens for 100k a piece, and rago's flame staff for something ridiculous like 100k + 20 ectos (back then ectos were 11.5k each)
More recently I bought an unded roaring ether for 8k and resold for 50k.

When Sorrows Furnace was new, I used to buy Dragos' Bows (the popular one) in the European districts for 50-60k and resold them on American districts for 80-100k, I made a fortune doing that... good times.

Off the top of my head I remember buying the PCGamer with the mini destroyer offer because I had heard you could sell it for around 100k (I heard wrong ). As I went to sell it I found out the highest I could sell it for was about 15k if I was lucky. I still had my hopes up and went to sell it for about 30k. When I was about to give up, 2 people said they wanted to buy it. They got in a bidding war and the final offer that won was like 65k and a combo of diamonds and onyx gemstones that ended up equaling about 110k.
I was very happy and, after much grinding, I got my main (a ranger) norn armor.
